Kamerata Stradivarius Biography

Founded in 2010, Kamerata Stradivarius was born with a daring vision: to perform concerts in a flexible formation without a conductor, where each musician is both a soloist and an integral part of a unified whole. This innovative approach quickly established the ensemble as one of the most distinctive and acclaimed chamber orchestras on the international stage.

Under the artistic direction of violinist Răzvan Stoica, as well as invited guest artists, Kamerata Stradivarius is celebrated for its homogeneous sound culture, stylistic freshness, and exceptional interpretative refinement. From the elegance of the Baroque to contemporary repertoire, the orchestra brings every score to life with energy, virtuosity, and deep emotional resonance.

Artistic Milestones

Since 2023, the orchestra has been touring internationally with its annual Baroque Opus Tour, bringing to life masterpieces by Vivaldi, Tartini, Bach, and other greats of the 17th and 18th centuries.
In 2026, Kamerata Stradivarius will embark on a major international tour with concerts in some of the world’s most prestigious venues, including the Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Berlin Philharmonie, and Gewandhaus Leipzig.
The ensemble is also proud to serve as the official orchestra of the Stradivarius Festival at Cantacuzino Estate, one of Romania’s most prestigious cultural events, where it regularly collaborates with leading artists of the classical world.
The orchestra’s artistic footprint also includes appearances in international projects such as Strad Style, a celebrated documentary on Paganini’s legendary Guarneri del Gesù “Il Cannone.”
